Corazon de Aztlán is a Chicano Art and literature magazine, exclusively serving the Los Angeles area with the purpose of stimulating the cultural, educational, historical, and political events that affect the Chicano community. Articles are featured in English and Spanish to reflect the bilingual makeup of the LA area. While this is the first issue, there is also a premiere issue that was printed prior to the first issue.
